Research paper no. 1 Organic intellectuals at points of rupture of the technical composition of the workforce

Is it possible to locate the potential for political work at the level of the base, i.e., among workers in the sphere of direct production? Our hypothesis is that this potential opens up at the level of discrepancies between the different technical compositions of the workforce required by capital. After presenting the historical context, in which the question of political work at the level of the base in Slovenia is raised, we discuss the concept of the technical composition of the workforce, and then develop the basic hypothesis of the volume. This is followed by two case studies that serve to illustrate our basic hypothesis.
